  • Peter Lemmich

    Chief Executive Officer

    Peter is an experienced and successful senior executive with broad operational experience in project, commercial and investment management across a wide range of industries, including technology development, renewable energy, engineering, manufacturing and private equity. He has worked in both large financial institutions and start-up companies, such as AMP Capital Investors, St. George Bank and Coopers and Lybrand.

    Peter has excelled in leading diverse multi-disciplinary teams to finance and undertake complex projects and transactions.

    Peter has been working with the Graphite Energy Technologies since 2004.

  • Byron Ross

    Chief Operating Officer

    Byron has a strong history developing and commercialising mechatronic products over 20 years and has demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary product development, engineering and commissioning teams on international projects.

    Byron is a strong systems thinker with well developed technology analysis skills. He has been able to successfully push multiple products up the technology maturity curve into broader market acceptance.

    Byron managed the design and implementation of control systems for concentrating solar thermal power stations from 2008- 2014 for projects in Germany, Australia and China.

Governance

Graphite Energy is governed by an experienced and capable Board of Directors with deep experience in effective governance, industry, business development and government relations. Each of our Directors brings their own well developed, overlapping and specialised area of expertise, adding to our depth of experience and capability.

  • Lyall McLachlan

    Chairman

    Mr McLachlan has extensive experience creating and building successful businesses, and in leadership roles. After serving for 12 years as an officer in the Australian Army, Mr McLachlan worked for Mayne Nickless and TNT and in 1986, he participated in the management buy-out of Toll Transport from Peko-Wallsend.

    In 1988, Mr McLachlan founded SWADS, a specialist warehousing and distribution company, which he sold to Australia Post in 2004, having achieve an annual turnover exceeding $100 million per annum.

    Mr McLachlan has extensive experience managing large organisations.

  • David Clark

    Non Executive Director

    David joined Graphite Energy in 2022. David is an Adviser and Partner at Koda Capital where he advises Ultra High Net Worth families and not-for-profits on investment management. David has been featured in Barron’s Top 100 advisers multiple times.

    He received a B.Ec as well as a Grad Dip Applied Finance and has completed Executive Education at Stanford Business School.

    David is also a Director of the St Joseph's College Foundation serving on the Investment Committee and chairing the Indigenous Bursary Subcommittee.

  • Dino Calvisi

    Non Executive Director

    Mr Calvisi graduated from the University of NSW in 1975 with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and attained a Master of Engineering Science (Electrical) in 1980.

    In 1986 he established Braemac Pty Ltd, an electronic/electrical design and distribution business for semiconductors and electrical components. Braemac has branches throughout Australia and New Zealand, and offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, the UK and the USA.

    Mr Calvisi brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in electrical systems design, sourcing and manufacturing as well as significant corporate governance experience.
